T.I. Marches in Peaceful Protest in Atlanta
T.I. wants justice.
Hours after Snoop Dogg and The Game took to the streets of L.A. to protest the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, Tip joined hundreds of people on a peaceful march through his hometown of Atlanta.
Documenting the journey on social media, he walked in solidarity with the crowd, including his 15-year-old son Domani, from the National Center for Civil and Human Rights to the CNN Center. Then, they continued their march until police officers blocked them from getting onto a highway.

On Thursday night, protestors organized a similar march, blocking Atlanta streets and the Connector. However, T.I.’s march was unable to block the Connector on this occasion due to the law enforcement blockade.
Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed explained on Friday that blocking the Connector would be dangerous.
“If you enter the highway, you endanger your own life, the lives of innocent motorists & the lives of our officers,” Reed said on Twitter. “We are better than that.”
The protestors dispersed at approximately 3:40 a.m., according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Sharing a photo of the march, T.I. said he was proud to have been part of these protests: “I LOVE MY PEOPLE!!!!! Proud to have been a part of this moment. Look at US… We Outchea!!!!!”
