Mobb Deep Announces 'Hell on Earth' 20th Anniversary Tour
It’s about to get hot. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 1996 LP Hell on Earth, Mobb Deep has announced a tour and an album.
The Infamous duo plans to hit the road for a 38-date trek starting March 5, according to Billboard. The U.S. run, set to feature Tha Dogg Pound and Smif-N-Wessun on select dates, will include stops at SXSW and gigs with Scratch DJ Academy.
Havoc and Prodigy will also unleash new music for this occasion. Much like they did with Infamous’ 20-year anniversary last year, the duo plans to release never-before-heard tracks from their Hell on Earth sessions.
Additionally, Mobb Deep will record two live performances of their 1995 album Infamous at New York’s Blue Note with a band for a separate 2016 release.
