New Music: DJ Khaled feat. Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih, Future, & Rick Ross - 'Do You Mind'

  /  07.28.2016

Special posse alert! Proving his star-nabbing ability once again, DJ Khaled links up with some MAJOR players—Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih, Future, and Rick Ross—for his latest release, “Do You Mind.”

Over a sample of Lil Jon’s “Lovers and Friends,” Nicki kicks off the track with vivid details about her much-discussed relationship with Meek Mill, and she isn’t shy about any of it. “Eat the cake and he suck on my toes, yes,” she rhymes. “Hittin’ them home runs, I be like ‘Go Mets!’ / I want a dude that still kiss me when he mad / Type to cop me diamonds, he can miss me with them bags.”

Breezy handles the melodic hook. “Baby you should be up in my bed,” he sings. Then August Alsina and Jeremih link up for a verse, while Future and Rick Ross deliver some rhymes in another. Finally, Nicki comes back around to sing for the track’s finale.

The posse cut isn’t the only star-powered track on DJ Khaled’s album Major Key, which is due Friday. Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Jay Z, Jeezy, Nas, Jadakiss, Fabolous, and Wiz Khalifa are among the album’s many guest stars.

Prior to unleashing “Do You Mind,” Khaled also released “Holy Key” (featuring Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, and Betty Wright), “I Got the Keys” (featuring Jay Z and Future), and “For Free” (featuring Drake).
