New Music: Chris Brown - 'Lady in the Glass Dress'
Chris Brown takes care of some unfinished business on “Lady in the Glass Dress.”
What was once only an interlude on X is now its own complete song. Released late Saturday (Sept. 17), the full 2:49 version features some familiar lyrics along with new ones.
“Lady in the glass dress,” sings Breezy over snaps. “I can see right through you / You act like you don’t want this, but you know that you do.”
Later, Chris croons about his ability to change lives. “You still dream,” he sings. “Baby I can make your dreams come true / Lady in the glass dress / I see right through you.”
“Lady in the Glass Dress” arrives as Breezy makes headlines outside of music. Earlier this month, he maintained his innocence after former beauty queen Baylee Curran accused him of threatening her with a gun.
He also sat during the national anthem at a celebrity basketball game on 9/11, a move that resulted in criticism and praise.
