New Music: Cardi B - 'Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)'

Blazing off her show-stopping performance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, Cardi B unleashes her Kodak Black-inspired single, “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).”

Heavily influenced by Lil Kodak’s “No Flockin,” the New York rapper rhymes about her haters, work ethic, and lifestyle.

“Honestly, don’t give a fuck ’bout who ain’t fond of me,” she raps. “Dropped two mixtapes in six months / What bitch working as hard as me? / I don’t bother with these hoes / Don’t let these hoes bother me / They see pictures, they say goals / Bitch, I’m who they tryin’ to be.”

While the J White-produced track was celebrated by many fans, it was also criticized by some, who felt she was biting Kodak. In response, Cardi tweeted: “That’s why I called it BODAK YELLOW you dumbass…How I’m stealing it when I clear calling it BODAK YELLOW .Dumb fuck I’m giving him credit .You NI**As love to dick eat.”
