Alicia Keys' 'HERE' Debuts at No. 2

  /  11.14.2016

Alicia Keys is HERE with another Billboard 200 smash.

Falling shy of Bon Jovi’s No. 1 album This House Is Not for Sale, the R&B songstress’ latest album debuts at No. 2 on the coveted chart, selling 50,00 album equivalent units (42,000 traditional) in its first week.

This marks Alicia’s seventh top 10 LP and her seventh straight top 2 effort. All of the other projects have hit No. 1 except for 2010’s The Element of Freedom.

Elsewhere, the Justin Timberlake-led Trolls soundtrack gets a huge boost from the movie’s opening week, catapulting 39-3 with 47,000 units (36,000 traditional).

Rae Sremmurd’s SremmLife 2 is also making moves. Ironically, that’s likely due to a challenge about not moving at all. “Black Beatles” and its viral popularity with the “Mannequin Challenge” have helped SL2 jump 21-5 with 39,000 units.

Rounding out the list is Drake’s Views, falling 7-8 with 32,000, and the Broadway cast of Hamilton holding strong at No. 9. Check out the full Billboard 200 top 10 below.
