Rick Ross Announces New Album 'Rather You Than Me'

Moments before the American Music Awards kicked off, Rick Ross made a major announcement.

During a red carpet pre-show interview with Tinashe on the E! network, the MMG mogul revealed the title of his ninth album—Rather You Than Me.

The project, his first since signing with Epic Records, will arrive early next year, according to Rozay.

To help get the word out, the Bawse sported a crewneck sweatshirt inscribed with the title while making the press rounds alongside his friend and collaborator DJ Khaled.

Rather You Than Me follows Renzel’s final Def Jam album, Black Market, which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 in December 2015.

Rozay recently unleashed the 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane-assisted “Buy Back the Block,” which may serve as the album’s lead single.
