New Music: Kevin Gates - 'No Love'

Kevin Gates has “No Love” for his haters on his latest release from behind bars.

Over thumping production, Gates explains why he’s fallen out with former friends. “Ni**as want a feature, they gon’ holler Gates,” he raps. “Ni**as want protection, they gon’ say my name / Ni**as want some fame, stand on side of Gates / I can see the snakes, ni**a you too late.”

“No Love” is the second solo track to be unleashed since KG’s incarceration and it follows the previously-released “What If.”

In April, shortly after releasing “What If,” Gates was sentenced to 30 months in prison after pleading guilty on a longstanding gun charge. Prior to that, the “2 Phones” rapper served five out of six months for battery after kicking a female fan in the face during a concert.
