Future's Self-Titled Album Goes Platinum

  /  08.10.2017

Platinum, platinum, platinum. Future’s self-titled album, which dropped earlier this year, has officially surpassed the million-sales marker.

This marks a special moment for Pluto. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, Future is only one of five platinum or better albums released in 2017.

Unleashed in February, the self-titled effort features songs like “Mask Off” and “Used to This” with Drake. More recently, Hendrxx added the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Mask Off (Remix)” and the YG-aided “Extra Luv” to the LP’s digital version.

Future was released only one week ahead of HNDRXX. Together, the projects made Pluto the first artist ever to notch back-to-back No. 1 debuts in consecutive weeks.

The Freebandz boss is currently on “The Future Hndrxx Tour.” Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, WizKid, Zoey Dollaz, Post Malone, and others on select dates, the trek is scheduled to continue through Oct. 23 in London.
