Yo Gotti & Nicki Minaj Perform 'Rake It Up' on 'Tonight Show'
Yo Gotti and Nicki Minaj made it rain on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with a show-stopping performance of their top 10 hit “Rake It Up.”
The Memphis MC — who released the single through his Mike WiLL Made-It collaborative EP Gotti Made-It — kicked off the performance with four thong-wearing dancers beside him. “I tell all my hoes, rake it up,” he rapped while they danced to the Mike WiLL beat.
Donning a bodysuit featuring dollar bills with her own face on them, the Young Money Queen shined brightly on the “Fallon” stage. She was decked out in $4 million in jewelry, which she later bragged about on Instagram. “Who caught this last night?” she wrote. “P.S. I’m wearing 4 MILLION dollars in jewelry by #JacobAndCo (choker alone gon run ya 2 M’s).”
“Rake It Up” has been a source of success for Gotti and Nicki. The song is currently No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and it was recently certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Nicki, who just celebrated Nas’ 44th birthday, is currently working on the follow-up to 2014’s The Pinkprint. Meanwhile, Gotti is prepping a new album for fall, according to Fallon.
