Video: Ella Mai - 'Lay Up'

DJ Mustard protégée Ella Mai heads to a private island in the music video for her new CHANGE single, “Lay Up.”

Sharing a few laughs with her beau, she soaks up some rays while throwing her man in the pool. “Just the two of us,” she sings. “Just jump right in.”

As the sun sets, Ella and her man share a fancy dinner and cuddle up while looking at the stars. “I want you to work up on this,” she sings. “Turn up on it / Late nights, early mornings.”

“Lay Up” is the latest single off the London-born singer’s CHANGE EP. Released in November, it was Ella’s first project under Mustard’s 10 Summers imprint.

Right before the EP dropped, Mai also released the video for “10,000 Hours” off the project.

Up next, Ella will join Kehlani on her “SweetSexySavage Tour,” which kicks off Feb. 21 in Montreal.
