Lupe Fiasco & Gizzle Perform 'Jump' on 'The Late Show'
Lupe Fiasco and Gizzle “Jump” for the gold on late night.
Backed by a DJ, two drummers, and a Matrix-inspired light show, the rhyming duo performed their DROGAS light single on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Thursday (Feb. 23).
Wearing a fur coat, Lupe kicked things off by rhyming about gold medals. It was fitting since, underneath his fur, were actual gold medals, dangling freely. Meanwhile, a Karl Kani-sporting Gizzle joined in with some gangsta bars of her own on the storytelling banger.
Released earlier this month with appearances from Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., and Rondo, DROGAS light is meant to be a “light” effort from Carrera Lu. “Musically, content, concepts, some of it is even freestyled,” he explained. “Easy breezy approach.”
