New Music: Jhené Aiko feat. Rae Sremmurd - 'Sativa'

After linking up with Swae Lee on “Sativa,” Jhené Aiko calls on the other half of Rae Sremmurd, Slim Jxmmi, for the official remix to her weed anthem, which serves as the latest single off last year’s Trip.

“Is it hot in here or is it just me?” asks Aiko. “I’m so high in here, from smoking on this weed.”

After Swae sings about a complicated relationship, Slim Jxmmi comes through with his own melodies. “I didn’t mean to keep her waiting,” he sings. “I hope I reach her expectations.”

A video for the collaboration is set to drop, fittingly, at 4:20 p.m. So far, Jhené has been unlocking previews for fans through a special website.

The original “Sativa” only featured an appearance from Swae Lee, who is now prepping his solo debut, Swaecation, Vol. 1. Meanwhile, Rae Sremmurd is gearing up to release SremmLife 3 this year.
