New Music: Royce da 5'9” feat. J. Cole - 'Boblo Boat'

Royce da 5’9” takes a trip down memory lane with J. Cole on “Boblo Boat,” the first single off Royce’s upcoming album, Book of Ryan.

Over a soulful instrumental, produced by Cool & Dre and 808 Ray, the Detroit MC reflects on childhood memories in the D, including family trips and losing his virginity. Meanwhile, Cole World reminisces about driving his mom’s Civic and “callin’ up hoes like we was Jodeci.”

A video for the song is set to premiere Monday (March 26). The two recently hit up a carnival to film the clip.

Book of Ryan, the follow-up to 2016’s Layers, will be released on May 4. The 20-track project is now available for pre-order.
