Video: Tory Lanez feat. Future - 'Real Thing'

  /  03.05.2018

Hot off the release of his sophomore album Memories Don’t Die, Tory Lanez calls on Future for the video to their “Real Thing” collaboration.

Directed by Zac Facts and Swavey himself, the visual is a brooding look at video vixen auditions. Women play basketball, box, and twerk while vying for a spot in the clip, while Hndrxx and Tory look on.

“I be ballin’,” raps Lanez. “Need an ESPY / Ask your girlfriend, she my bestie.” Pluto follows with an apparent reference to Ciara and Russell Wilson: “Fell in love with a ni**a drinking codeine / How you gon’ fall for a ni**a drinking creatine?”

Future is one of many artists featured on Memories Don’t Die, which also includes 50 Cent (“Pieces”), Fabolous (“Connection”), Wiz Khalifa (“Hillside”), and NAV (“Dance for Me”).

One artist who isn’t a part of the project is Nicki Minaj, who asked to be taken off “Shooters” after a text exchange with Lanez.
