Video: A$AP Rocky feat. Moby - 'A$AP Forever'

  /  04.05.2018

Shortly after premiering “A$AP Forever,” A$AP Rocky delivers a mind-bending video for the Moby-inspired banger.

The Dexter Navy-directed visual is a quick-paced journey through New York. Using creative directorial cuts and transitions, Flacko travels through the city, appearing on billboards, rooftops, bedrooms, bridges, and television screens.

“I put New York on the map,” he raps while traversing the Empire State. Later, he floats while Moby’s voice pops up in the background. This leads to a psychedelic ending, featuring Flacko in a gravity-defying trance. “In my dreams, I’m dying all the time,” sings Moby, before a car crash closes out the clip.

Moby’s singing is sampled from the electronic DJ’s “Porcelain” off 1999’s Play. “the new ASAP Rocky track A$AP Forever is based around ‘porcelain,'” tweeted Moby, who makes a cameo as a ghostly figure.

A$AP Rocky premiered the track during a film-like medley on “The Tonight Show,” where he also debuted “Distorted Records.”

Both songs are expected to appear on Flacko’s next album, reportedly called Testing. It will be his first full-length release since 2015’s At.Long.Last.A$AP.
