Gunna, Offset Score Top 5 Debuts

Gunna leads this week’s Billboard 200 debuts.

The YSL rapper scores his highest-charting album yet as his debut Drip or Drown 2 enters at No. 3 with 90,000 equivalent album units (7,000 in album sales). He surpasses Drip Harder, last October’s collaborative project with Lil Baby, which debuted at No. 4 with 130,000 units (6,000 in album sales).

Offset sets it off at No. 4 with his debut solo album, Father of 4. The star-studded effort, which features Cardi B, J. Cole, and Travis Scott, sold 89,000 equivalent album units (7,000 in traditional sales). The Migos rapper previously scored a top 5 debut with the Metro Boomin and 21 Savage-assisted Without Warning, which debuted at No. 4.

Offset has the second-largest sales week for a Migos member, following Quavo’s debut Quavo Huncho, which peaked at No. 2 with 99,000 equivalent album units. Takeoff’s solo effort The Last Rocket opened at No. 4 with 49,000 equivalent album units.

Lil Pump returns to the top 10 at No. 7 with Harverd Dropout, which enters with 48,000 equivalent album units (25,000 in album sales). He previously debuted at No. 3 with his 2017 self-titled debut, which sold 46,000 units in its first week.

Kehlani earns her second top 10 project with While We Wait at No. 9 with 34,000 equivalent album units (6,000 in album sales). It follows 2017’s SweetSexySavage, which debuted at No. 3 with 58,000 units earned.

Elsewhere, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born soundtrack returns to No. 1 with 128,000 equivalent album units. Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next slides to No. 2 (116,000), Gary Clark Jr.’s This Land debuts at No. 6 (54,000), A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s Hoodie SZN slips 6-8 (37,000), and Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys falls 7-10 (33,000).
