New Music: H.E.R. feat. YG - 'Slide'

H.E.R. continues the new music onslaught.

After dropping her full-length album I Used to Know Her, the Grammy-winning songstress teams up with YG on her new banger “Slide,” which she debuted during her inaugural Lights On Festival in Concord, Calif.

The Vallejo native pays homage to her hometown on the Bay Area banger (“Candy paint with the windows all black”), while the Compton rapper reps the west on the infectious bop. “I need a baecation / I need my bitch in an apron / Booty all out cookin’ bacon,” raps the 4Hunnid boss.

YG can also be heard on Tyla Yaweh’s single “I Think I Luv Her,” which samples Kelis’ “Bossy,” and Wiz Khalifa’s new track “Shouldn’t Matter.”

H.E.R. released her full-length album I Used to Know Her last month featuring collaborations with Bryson Tiller and YBN Cordae.
