Miguel Drops New Single 'Funeral'
Miguel unleashes a Halloween surprise with his new single “Funeral.”
The R&B playboy switches up his sound on the electro-infused track, while maintaining his heartthrob persona. “Send my regards to the mother and father ’cause somebody’s daughter I just fu**in’ slayed,” he sings.
“Funeral” is the first single from Miguel’s upcoming EP of the same name, due this winter. “I’m releasing more music all the way into the new year but ‘Funeral’ is the perfect song to get it started,” he said. “I’ve been exploring darker tones and themes for some time, this song whets the imagination for what’s to come.”
It marks Miguel’s first new music since his Spanish EP Te Lo Dije in April. He also recently collaborated with Alicia Keys on “Show Me Love.”
