Rihanna Opens Up About Pregnancy For First Time
Rihanna has baby on the brain.
The singer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, was glowing as she hit the red carpet for the first time since announcing her pregnancy at her Fenty Beauty Universe event in Los Angeles on Friday night (Feb. 11).
Speaking with PEOPLE, the 33-year-old fashion icon opened up about the “challenge” of being fashionable while pregnant.
“I like it. I’m enjoying it,” she said.

Instead of hiding her baby bump, she’s embracing her curves. “I’m enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy,” she added. “If I feel a little chubby, it’s like, whatever! It’s a baby!”
The billionaire mogul also explained how makeup and fashion have boosted her confidence. “Right now, being pregnant, some days you just feel like, ‘Ugh, I just want to lay here on this couch all day.’ But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform,” she explained.
“You put some clothes on, and it’s like, when you look good, you feel good. I’ve heard that for a very long time, but it’s true. It really can get you up off that couch and make you feel like a bad bitch.”
She and Rocky weren’t afraid to show PDA as they cozied up for photos on the red carpet at last night’s event. Earlier this month, the mom-to-be revealed her pregnancy during a photo shoot with Rocky in New York City.
