Mya’s Liberation Set for Dec. 12 Release

Mya’s fourth album, Liberation, has been pushed back to December 12. The first single will no longer be “Ayo.” It is now scheduled to be the Scott Storch produced “Lock You Down.” A video still has yet to be shot.

UPDATE: Mya recently switched management teams and is now signed to Violator Management who also manage 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, and Missy Elliott. Her father still remains one of her managers.

    This is great news…Ayo seems to be doing good. I’m glad she’ll have two tracks blazing up the charts. This is a first for Mya…2007 will definately be her year

    what the fudge anonymous! so what’s your point? she is an entertainer, the people still buy britney spears albums, and she cant sing that well. whats your point. Mya rules. she can mother fuckin sing, and can dance, act, and design clothes, model, and more. what are u doing with ur life, thats the point. she’s a millionaire and she’s young. so my point is shut the fuck up. mya rules. period.

    I am so excited! It seems like she’s FINALLY decided on a release date and finally doing something about it (i.e. holding concerts, etc.) I really feel that the new release date is the final one and for that I am so f-ing excited!!!!

    Anonymous….many people sleep on Mya…the girl can definately sing and nobody compares to her when it comes to dancing…It’s a shame that you live your life day by day as a hater.Nobody really cares what you think so you can take that else where. I don’t see you with a record deal so you might wanna shut up

    so i work as an intern in miami for a local news paper.a co-worker that know scott-storch has a sample of mya’s ‘lock you down’ it was only like a min long, it sounds so bad-ass… and im not even a mya fan… well i wasnt,but after hearing ‘a yo’ and this song… i am now!

    Shucks. Ayo could be a great lead single. I heard it already. I hope that song “Lock You Down” will be as good.

    Everbody just have patience and faith in Mya…she knows what she is doing and will come out on top…and i’m sure the first single will be better than Ayo
