Michelle Williams’ ‘Greatest’ Song

We were lucky enough to be given an advance copy of Michelle Williams’ new pop/dance record Unexpected (August 12), so we had to share one of our favorite cuts off the album called “The Greatest.” The sugary-sweet urban ballad was produced by Jim Jonsin (Danity Kane’s “Show Stopper”).

“And now I realize that the stars are in your eyes, ’cause you always shine, baby you’re the greatest,” Michelle sings.

We can totally see this song being played at weddings and other special occasions. If promoted right, Michelle could have a Top 40 hit on her hands. Note to Columbia Records: You must release this as a single.

Apparently, we’re not the only ones feeling it. Michelle told us in our exclusive interview that the track is one of her favorites too. Sorry for taunting you without any audio, but trust us when we say it’s good.
