We told ya’ll about this first. Now listen to Ciara’s “Go Girl” featuring T-Pain, the first single off her forthcoming album Fantasy Ride, due in stores this December. Expect a much sexier image from CiCi this time around, hence the “super sexual” and “Energizer Playboy bunny” references in the song.

UPDATE: A reader pointed out that “Go Girl” uses the same beat as “Hood Girl,” a track featuring T-Pain that leaked last month.

I’m HIGHLY disappointed with Ciara’s “Go Girl”. I mean, I can see it’s appeal but, in comparision to “High Price”, “Go Girl” is sub-par at best. It’s such a shame ’cause I was really excited about Ciara’s upcoming project but, with the release of this as a single, I’ve kinda lost a little my anticipation for the project. It’s sad that “High Price” leaked ’cause it’s so high energy, innovative and overall just a fun song. That’s what missing from a lot of the music today and it’s very difficult to set trends in today’s music, “High Price” did just that; set a trend. I don’t know, i’m gonna have to get a couple more listen’s to this, hopefully it’ll grow on me.

This song is better than High Price..but it\\\’s still weak..Ciara has not improved her vocals since she came out 3 years ago

ciara is just not a vocalist Dre!! if you want someone who sings check for beyonce or christina. Anyways this song is wack and they went the safe route with this song. I didnt like high price or this. She needs something better.

NO WAY that “Hood Girl” is infact “Go Girl” because that track leaked WEEKS ago!!! BUMMER if it’s true!!!

ppl r neva satisfied when someone goes different ppl hate (high price)and when they do something that is more appeasin (go girl) still hate maybe more artists would take risks wit their music when ppl start opening their minds

Seriously this song is a total disappointment. High Price really showed an evolution in her creativity just like Promise did on her last album. High Price has a killer beat (Tricky Stewart KILLED that beat), playful lyrics, and a KILLER rap by Ludacris. This song is way to safe and has killed all my anticipation for this album.

High Price was a more compicated beat more complex concept but this is a straight forward radio banger.

thats the reason they went with this song people because it is way more radio friendly than high price is. The first single has to be for the radio so that they can get enough spins and do better on the billboard charts.

OK YEAH ACTUALLY HOOD GIRL WAS T-PAIN\\\’S REFERENCE TRACK FOR CIARA FOR ANY OF YOU THAT DON\\\’T KNOW THATS WHEN THE WRITER SINGS THE SONG TO GIVE TO THE ARTIST SO OBVIOUSLY WHEN CIARA RECORDED IT SHE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE HOOD TO GO, BUT THIS WAS NEVER A T-PAIN SONG FOR HIMSELF IT WAS ALWAYS MEANT FOR CIARA CAUSE IF YOU LISTEN TO THE ORIGINAL HE SAYS CALL ME CICI.. BUT ANYWHOO I THINK THE SONG IS HOT IT WILL DEFINITELY CATCH ON TO THE RADIO AND EVERYBODY LOVES T-PAIN.

Ciara needs to get on the ball. This is only her third effort, how is she not on it right now?

As for the song: Kiss-Kiss underwater. Murky water.

High Price wasn\’t so one-dimensional. But I wasn\’t feeling that track too much either….

I think High Price is amazing – its loud, solid, and creative. Still, Go Girl is somethin just to get her name back out there, its a pretty good song but nothing bangN. Im positive her follow up single is gonna be fire, which she’ll release come probably Nov. It’s a good song tho
