Janet Jackson has been hospitalized after becoming ill, according to her representative at W&W Public Relations.

The pop star canceled her Rock Witchu tour stop in Montreal, Canada on Monday after she “got suddenly ill during the sound check” and had to be rushed to the hospital shortly before show time.

The 42-year-old singer is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show at a later date.
