That performance was beautiful and understated. The notes were graceful and Beyonce was quite elegant. From the way she kept nodding it appears as if Barbara approves.

Here\’s how it was. Barbara Streisand, a legendary perfectionist, scrutinized Beyonce\’s performance like a judge at a figure skating competition and rated Beyonce a 10. Barbara was visibly moved by Beyonce\’s rendition which did total justice to her original but still bore Beyonce\’s own signature. She made the song her own. It was just beautiful- brought tears to my eyes.

Can you imagine that 30 years from now there’s gonna be someone who’s gonna honor Beyonce with “Dangerously in Love”, “Flaws and All”, “Halo”, “Crazy in Love” or “Single Ladies”?
And that person is not even borned yet, he or she will be born in the next 10 years!
Hope I’m still alive then to witness that!

My favorite version of this song is the one with Vanessa Williams. Beyoncé killed it though, she did her thing!
