Rap-Up.com || Nelly Furtado Back in the Spotlight

Nelly Furtado popped up on MuchMusic’s “MuchOnDemand” in Toronto, Canada, on Tuesday (May 26) to promote electro-dance band Fritz Helder & The Phantoms, the first act signed to her label Nelstar Music.

While there, she revealed that she is working on a Spanish album for release in September. We’re still crossing our fingers for a Nelly-Missy Elliott joint album.

that group looks…. interesting lol

I love her; I think she was at her best on songs like “ching ching” (the old timb sound) but she is still cool on Timb’s new stuff. I was even feeling her at the beginning when she came out with “I’m like a bird”..

Yes Nelly’s back!!! I’ve loved her since “Like A Bird” dropped! She forever changin it up and it always works. Can’t wait to hear what she comes up with this time. I really hope she get in the studio wit Pharrell, JT and Timbo…would be crazy! And I’m still rockin Say It Right!

Awesome! I hope she moves me physically and not just emotionally on the spanish album, comprende? ‘Cause it handle another ballad heavy one like J.Lo’s. And maybe throw in some portuguese into the mix ’cause I already speak spanish and any portuguese I know are from her songs.
