Chris Brown assists Mary J. Blige on a new ballad called “Stronger.” The embattled pop star provides ad-libs, while the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul croons over an acoustic track, which can be found on DJ Storm’s Desert Storm South R&B mixtape. Look for a new MJB album in November.

@ goons, i agree 1000% and i am glad that people can stop and away from the hating. we are all humans and have made mistakes before that we regret and it doesn’t mean we will do it again.
I love the song, i really like mary j blige’s songs.

Love this song!!! And I do love also that Mary is coming to Chris’s side…He doesn’t deserve the demonization that the media and mainstream has given him. I admire Mary all the more for this and it does seem that Chris would have wrote this song for him to be on it. If that’s the case – the boy has found his greatest talent…and I think Drake needs to go get some help before he comes out – his lyrics are so disgusting that I can’t listen to the songs and he actually has a good voice. I guess trying to throw the good boy image from Degrassi…

I love this song so much!!! Mary J’s voice and this song just give me chills! With “Sronger” and “The One” I kno for sure I’m buying the new album! Wish the album would come out soon though…can’t wait!

Chris is doing ad-libs because he wrote it. So that’s why you don’t hear a verse from him. He wrote w/ Esther Dean. There’s also 2 version of this song one with Keri Hilson and the other with Esther Dean. Just Youtube it, if you want to hear it.

Just because Mary recorded this song doesn’t mean that she’s coming to his side. This is a business and Mary knows how to stay relevant. Luckily she has the talent to back it up unlike a lot of ladies in urban music. Going with a song like this when two other singers have recorded it, will only keep her on the blogs and in the press because “Chris Brown” had something to do with it. Regardless, it’s a great song and it’s a win-win for all parties.

@ ash hey thanks for that info! I just listened to Esther Dean’s version and her voice is AMAZING! I’ve never heard of her before. Is she a songwriter, recording artist or both? I can’t seem to find anything on her. Do you or anyone else know?
