Jay-Z Rocs Madison Square Garden

Kanye, Jay-Z, and Rihanna

From Marcy to Madison Square. Jay-Z made a triumphant return to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday for his “Answer the Call” 9/11 charity concert. Hov shared the stage with some famous friends including Kanye West, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, John Mayer, Diddy, Swizz Beatz, Santigold, Kid Cudi, and Mrs. Carter herself, who performed “Diva.” Even Jigga’s mother-in-law Tina Knowles was caught throwing up the diamond.

This concert had to be the most alive concert that I’ve ever experienced in my home (besides Janet Jackson’s concerts)…but this one was star studded guests appropriately with Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye West, Pharrell, Memphis Bleek, John Mayer, Diddy, Swizz Beatz, Mary J. Blige….I was amaze’d by the level of energy that was in my house and in that stadium. It felt like so much love. It was a great show. I can’t wait to add this to the collection of DVDs.

    Greatest Rapper Alive = Jay-Z.

Yes, I agree with you both. Even from watching at home I felt as if I were there. It was never a dull moment. Glad Rihanna was there too. Cool concert.

It’s funny how Jay-z playfully dissed Beyonce in ‘Venus vs Mars’ and then she came out singing ‘Diva’.
What a great concert. Mary J Blige was drunk though lol, she still sounded X1000 better than most wannabe’s.
Lol @ Diddy smacking Jay-z’s ass!
Someone tell mama Tina she’s throwing the roc sing all kinds of wrong LMAO!

Jay-z will always be my favorite rapper. Can’t wait for the BP3 Tour, already got my BP3 cd and T-Shirt.

This is by far the best concert of the year. Jay-z definitely put up a show in this one with or without the guest appearances. Hit after Hit, I was amazed. Never even knew he had that many classics until last night.Best Rapper Alive no questions asked.

HOVA, you are the undisputed KING. He’s so generous doing what he did for those people out there. I loved Run This Town.

I can’t believe I forgot to record this. Damn it, I’m so pissed at myself right now. At least I got the new album… and all the other ones too.

Have you noticed that BEYDABESS never comments on anything Beyonce’s actually involved in? All his/her posts are on is other females and hating on them…

Side note: This was EPIC. Though BP3 was just an average album (OB4CL2 was MUCH better), much more of Jay-Z’s discography is CLASSIC, and as long as he holds on to these, he’ll always be set.

    Must of been hott! Epic!

Side-note: Rihanna looks like a chubby Ciara with shorter hair & different but similar clothing.

Another side-note: Not a hater but all these artists work together to make heavy hot hits, but Ciara keeps it to herself, thus displaying that she, herself, is independent & worked hard herself to get where she is.

& I agree with Burmy, is Beyonce herm god??

@Go Girl – Ciara worked hard to get where? Didn’t she move to LA to kick it with C-list celebrities to gain exposure?
