Females looking for a swag anthem of their own finally have one thanks to Amerie. A turns her swag on over a soaring, booming beat courtesy of Jim Jonsin (T.I.’s “Whatever You Like”). “Swag Back” is one of the many highlights off the R&B siren’s fourth album In Love & War, in stores November 3.

i have the album and it’s fuckin amazing!!! i still will be in line to buy it when it drops on nov. 3 though. i always support good music. but anyway, this really could be amerie’s breakthrough album. once “pretty brown” catches on and blows up on pop and r&b, then she drops another epic record like “more than love” it’s a wrap! her disc will be flying off the shelves and downloaded off itunes like there was no tomorrow.

This album is the shit!!! I’ve never bought an Amerie album but Im for damn sure buying this one. “Swag Back” is fire and I’m loving “More Than Love”. This is by far her best album!

AMERIE HAS DONE IT. The album is absolutely AMAZINGGGGGG! Swagback is a hit. i will be buying the album for sure. So many potential hits, the whole album is incredible. Def Jam needs to promote the hell out of In Love and War cause in my opinion its a classic. Yes i said it.

I swear if the industry knows good music then they will know this album is a classic. Most the album has leaked already and the songs ive heard so far are incredible, including Swag Back, more than Love ft Fabolous, Red Eye, Pretty Brown Eyes Im very impressed with this album and imma guy. i dont listen to a lot of female albums but this album is the one. Amerie thanks for saving r&b music with this album. 5 Stars ***** AMAZING!!!

and when u see the growth from Ameries First album to this its a huge, huge growth. I keep commenting cause the album is so incredible and i feel its not gonna get the credit and sales it deserves. She needs to be up there with Rihanna and Beyonce. I think if Def Jam was smart they would release pretty brown Eyes with a video then the album like end of November but its too late now =[

first week sales mean a lot but they aren’t everything. this could be a slow burner and do what “the fame” did for lady gaga and what “songs about jane” did for maroon 5. they both took a while to catch on but once they found that sinlge it was over. def jam, amerie, and lenny, get your promo together! for the love of God!

Ameries In love and War is definately the best female r&b album in 2009 period. Its taking it back to the essense of good music. 90′s with an updated sound but it works perfectly. She has perfected her craft with this album for sure. This album needs to go straight to #1 on billboard when it drops hands down. Swag Back is a bangerrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

I am actually feeling this album. There are some aggressive type songs and beautiful songs but all with hiphop edge. I think she did a great job and it is setting her apart from all of the other r&b chicks in the game.

Amerie’s got some hot tracks on this new album, and this is definitely one of them, but the problem is LACK OF PROMOTION. I haven’t heard any news about this new record as much apart from here. and none of her songs get that much play on the radio. This sounds like a potential #1 but as long as island defjam ain’t doing their job, no way will it be a #1…let alone will this album be a no.1. Right now def jam’s probably more focused on promoting Rihanna’s album now,(that’s the first artist you see on the def jam website) so I doubt this will do well. Hot song though.

Let me tell ya’ll Amerie is the sh*t. I just dig this girl so much. Her album is so dope but I’m a little pissed off. Why is it that all her music has leaked I mean really. Who is responsible in keeping it safe until its official release date? I have never heard of her music leaking before until she signed with Def Jam. Is it there responsibility?
In any event I will still be buying the album from Amazon.com. Go get’em A it’s ya time to shine honey!

Yes I agree More Than Love is the sh*t with Fabulous. I’m not sure what it is but when those two get together it is so organic and the chemistry is strong and the cut’s are always a bangger!

I’m also fellin Higher and Diffrent People. I wish Why R U the Remix was on the album with Nas, Jadakis, Cain and Rick Ross. My girl is feelin Swag Back I guess she is trying to tell me something!

Wow I’m a little shocked the album is way better than I thought it would be. That Higher cut is insane on some ole rock sh*t! It’s a really amazing track. More Than Love is it ya’ll I’m telling you her and Fab brought it on that track. That should be the next single it really should have been the first single. Different People is on point too I mean like wo! Swag Back is my jam too. Ladies it’s all good on this one here for us listen and listen carefully. Different People and Red Eye round out my list of baddest tracks on the album besides the tracks that have been released like Herad’Em All and Pretty Brown. Why R U was ok but should’ve not been a first single. I do like the remix which isn’t on the album.

Love the album Amerie these other chicks in the game need to take notes.

I love “Swag Back” the lyrics are dope and Amerie’s swag truly shines through! I hope it’s a single I feel that it could take off on the pop charts like “1 Thing” did back in 2005.
