Mr. and Mrs. Carter share a rare moment of PDA backstage at the MTV EMAs 2009 in Berlin on Thursday (Nov. 5). B thanked her husband while accepting the award for Best Video for “Single Ladies”: “There’s only one person I want to thank and that is Jay for puttin’ a ring on it.”

Jay-Z, Shakira, Leona Lewis, and more also performed.
