Jazmine Sullivan gets help from some heavy hitters on the remix to “Holding You Down (Goin’ in Circles),” the lead single off her sophomore album Love Me Back. With the original beat still intact (and the addition of some Swizz Beatz sirens), the Philly soulstress gets some help from Mary J. Blige, who revives her verse from “Be Happy” before folding in some new lyrics. Guess Jazmine isn’t the only one dealing with man problems, huh? Be on the lookout for her new album, dropping this fall.

i love jazmine. when i heard the remix was with swizz and mary j blige, i had such high expectations. hearing this really let me down. wasn’t executed well and it comes off sloppy. jazmine has a problem with remixes: dream on “bust your windows” and t.i. on “need u bad.” neither one helped push the project or her career. can’t wait to hear this album.
