Rap-Up.com || Lauryn Hill Brings Out Beyoncé, Jay-Z, & Alicia Keys at Rock the Bells

Lauryn Hill pulled out all the stops for her headlining gig at the 7th Annual Rock the Bells Festival, which took place on Governors Island in New York on Saturday (Aug. 28).

Opening her set with Fugees classic “Fu-Gee-La,” Ms. Hill brought an A-list batch of friends to the stage including Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, the oh-so-pregnant Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz, Chris Rock, John Legend, and Fugees’ producer Jerry Wonder. L. Boogs was even joined by her kids for a touching rendition of “To Zion,” dedicated to her first-born.

The annual festival also featured artists including Wu-Tang Clan, A Tribe Called Quest, Snoop Dogg, and more performing their greatest albums in their entirety. Watch some of Ms. Hill’s high-energy set below.

She was so pressed to bring everybody on stage. Obviously they didn’t really wanna go on.

I wish she didn’t take so long to come back on the scene. Now she looks over-baked and homeless.

Lauryn Hill is amazing. The way she dresses now just proves that she doesn’t need fashionable clothing or anything like that to make her hott. SHE JUST IS!!! People love Lauryn for her sound and her intelligence when she spits. You’re not getting the message if all you can talk about is her clothes. Plus I think she awesome!! LOVE U LAURYN!!

Swizz is so cute…Anyway I was watching a vh1 greatest artists of all time and there was Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, and of course Beyonce. Where was Lauryn Hill??? or the Fugees???…I found that pretty odd seeing how Lauryn Hill had the record for most grammy’s in one night til’ Bey came and snatched that title.
