Rap-Up.com || New Music: Kanye West f/ Pusha T

A day after Kanye West debuted his new track “Runaway” at the MTV Video Music Awards, the official version has been released. The track, which features G.O.O.D. Music’s newly signed Pusha T, boasts a creaky piano beat and uneven drums, with Kanye singing about toasting to the douchebags and assholes before rapping about his lack of luck with the ladies.

Beautiful and real. Judging from all the tracks he has shown us so far, this may be an album worth buying. It’s not that 808 was bad or anything, I mean he made that album after his mom died and he broke up with his girlfriend, so it was very heartfelt and personal, but the excessive use of Auto-Tune was what killed the experience for me. Good thing it won’t be the case for the new album.

As much of a douche canoe that Kanye West is, I have great muascil respect for him (respect him muascilly? Whatevs) and like most of his music, yet, you never have. I actually think you responded to one of the songs on my Ipod by Kanye with ew. Now you like Kanye or is the awesomeness of Jay-Z so astounding that you put up with Kanye?
