Hallelujah! Rihanna and Nicki Minaj make it rain the opposite sex on the tinkering “Raining Men,” fresh off the red-haired siren’s album Loud (Nov. 16). The ladies go in over a teetering drum rhythm accented by sleezy synths, boasting about getting showered in male affection.

“Fallin’ like the rain, so we ain’t running out,” sings RiRi while Nicki raps, “Excuse me, but who are you fixin’ to be/ Let the mothaf***as know it’s plenty fish in the sea.” Grab an umbrella and prepare for the storm.

once again, Nicki steals the show. Poor Rihanna sounds like a fool compared to her. The lack of a chorus is random but otherwise a good album cut. Nicki killed it.

Rihanna “Rated R” was you best work lyrically to date. However I feel like now you are focusing on making hits and not music.

I don’t know who Rihanna is anymore. Good Girl Gone Bad, Rated R are Rihanna classics and showcase you as an artist. Lately you are in the same boat as Nicki. She makes the charts however people forget about the songs 5 months later.

Rated R was Rihannas best album in my opinion i liked it even better than Good girl Gone Bad and Good Girl Gone Bad was her best album to most people but to me Rated R just showed her growth as an artist. This Loud era is ok to me. What do yall think?

Oh how i love how all the blog commenters want to appreciate rated r for what it was now but when it dropped noone had anything nice to say about it except the critics.
