Passengers on a Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis to New York City last week got more than they paid for when Kanye West performed for them mid-air. Instead of hearing the captain or a flight attendant, they were surprised when the rapper got on the loudspeaker 30 minutes into the flight to spit parts of his hits “Gold Digger” and “Good Life.”

“He was like, ‘Yo, this your n***a, Kanye,'” a passenger tells Hollywood Life. “Then he couldn’t decide if he wanted to do ‘Good Life’ or ‘Gold Digger,’ so he was like, ‘I’ll just do a little bit of both.’ It was awesome… but I still have no idea how he got into the cockpit.”

After landing at his destination, the superstar didn’t demand the VIP treatment. “He filed out in line with everyone else, and I thought that was pretty cool. Especially for Kanye.”
