Rap-Up.com || Brandy Kicked Off ‘Dancing with the Stars’

In the ninth week of competition, Brandy and her dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars.” The dancing duo had received high scores throughout the season, but America had the final say, sending them packing on Tuesday night. The three contestants moving on to the finals are Bristol Palin, Jennifer Grey, and Kyle Massey.

“I don’t know how to feel right now,” said an emotional Brandy. “It hasn’t processed yet for me.”

Her peers, including Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett, and former “DWTS” contestant Lil’ Kim, expressed their disappointment with the results. “Ummmmm…. What in the French Toast jus happened with this @4everBrandy situation??? *flips table* Ur a winner Brandamit!!!” tweeted LeToya.

UPDATE: Brandy wrote the following message to her fans on Twitter: “My life has truly changed from one of the most challenging experiences of my life! My confidence, strength, and passion has reawakened:) I am forever grateful to God and all of you who believed when I didn’t! Thank you so much for being the best fans in the whole world!! Love Bran.”

I guess it should not be america that should decide who should pack up and who should stay with the dancing with the stars. More weight should be given to the judges than the viewers score say 70% from the judges and 30% from the viewers so that when the scores are combined, the best dancer would still come out.

Bristol has Alaska’s support as well as her mother’s political supporters…I think that people thought Brandy was doing so well she was automatically safe. “Hmm I’ll vote to keep Bristol because Brandy got a perfect score, she’ll be safe. Bristol could use my vote.” That type of thinking is what made Brandy lose.

Well if its anything like “Americas got talent” then it doesnt matter who calls in to vote the producer has the final say. I believe this show just might be like the other. all about making money with ratings and texts.. but they need to keep it controversial so now they stirred it up and people will want to stay tuned in.. It is a shame though these are real people trying real hard..(the dancers).

I haven’t watched a show yet but most defiantly it’s going to go to Jennifer Grey, especially with Patrick Swayze passing. Dirty Dancing was one of the ultimate love stories (MOVIE) sad but true. Anytime Mya lost I knew this shit was rigged.

This show is not about who is the best dancer, but votes. The same type mentality from the peanut gallery screaming, “Brandy got robbed” did not vote. Same thing with The Grammys last year with Taylor Swift winning album of the year . . . If you wanted Beyonce to win, buy her freaking album instead of stealing it online. Swift had the album sales!

Havent you noticed that when the judges say something very nasty to the team they want to get rid of. They are gone. No matter how good they are. This show is rigged.

I voted on the phone, in the computer, uder every screen name(6, have to use different comps and laptops) on my 3 sons phone, on my daughter’s phone and called EVERYBODY I know and all family members! Brandy was still eliminated. All this does not make any sense. Anyway, Has anyone ever asked to prove these tallies of the votes? Brandy is a sweet person and Max is very focused and his his own way of teaching. He is NOT a warm and fuzzy person but an awesome instructor. Unfortunately, Brandy’s fans did not come through for her. Maybe because they thought she had it in the bag. Bristol’s Tea party fan’s did come through for her. Reminds me of the recent elections. Many Tea Party candidates won because all of the “So-called” Obama supporters didn’t vote. They had no proble voting for president based soley on the fact that he was black but didn’t know what he stood for but didn’t vote this time because race wasn’t an issue. Many similarities actually. Personally, Hillary should have won just like Brandy should win America doesn’t vote based on talent they vote based on popularity. Brandy got screwed, we all know it. It should have come down to Jennifer and Brandy based on dance skills. The Tea Party did the same thing that the black democrats did to get Obama elected, they made it there mission even though bristol can’t dance and Obama had NO experince. Now we all get to live with poor voting decisions on both fronts.

she is no dancer, and has other people have noted, she should have been out by week 3! I think voting is rigged, hacking may be going on, and whether political or not, ABC should be looking at what people are saying and the fact they will lose many viewers if there is any chance Bristol will win! People are calling her the “underdog”, but she is truly a dog in the dance department. No talent whatsoever, go home and take care of your baby, go back to school, and use your mind to get an education, don’t bother with the dancing or any type of athletic talents because you are not any good! Keep hanging on Mommy’s coattails and you will never get married, be independent, and be own your own! It is time to spread your wings (and PLEASE not in the dance department) and get your own life. Did anyone else try voting for Brandy Monday nite..but could not get through?? I don’t mean a busy signal, I mean static and then a disconnect. How convienent. I tried to vote for Kyle too, but the line was busy. I’ve voted in seasons past and never got that response before that I did when I tried to vote for Brandy, I voted for her earlier in the season and everything went through. Pretty ironic the week that her mom’s show debuts and it’s the semi finals that Bristol beats Brandy.This has always been my favorite show..but something just doesn’t seem right about last nights results!

Brandi, while not charged with murder/vehicular homicide, killed someone in an automobile wreak. That was revealed the night of the voting. That, alone, is sufficient to prevent many people from voting for her. The other contestants have not taken a human life, even accidentally. Like Bristol Palin, Brandi also had an out-of-wedlock child, although Brandi initially lied to the public about being married to the father. Thus she and Bristol both were young unwed mothers. There was probably a poor choice of wardrobe for her as well. A cape, as is customarily worn in the Paso Doble dance, would have enhanced her great dramatic performance. The camera angles also seem to have been less than idyllic.

I really can’t believe Brandi was voted off.
I keep re-watching the elimination clip and the look on Derek’s face is price less. His WTF!! expression is great.
I think if a huge flood of votes came in all at once for Bristol it will show politics were involved, and possibly people that don’t even watch the show voted just to keep Bristol on.
Only ABC knows the vote numbers, but if votes sky rocketed for this one episode, they know the truth, and I hope ABC will be honest about it.
This is very sad, because I watch DWTS and have always enjoyed it, now it seems tainted.

Brandy was too full of herself. The reason she got kicked off was clear.
1. She thought way too highly of herself. I considered myself something of a fan until the night when she bragged about her musicality, and Maks had that dumb arguement about who knows what.
2. Maks’ arguement shot her in the foot. Blame him.
3. People who were still fans of her (even though she was losing favour because she was too big of a fan of herself) thought she’d be fine and maybe didn’t vote enough.

She wanted the trophy too badly and thought way too highly of herself. I laughed when she got kicked off (I had predicted it the night before) because she had such a big ego and needed to be knocked down a peg. Now, Bristol needs to get kicked off because I wanted her gone from day 1 and hate that she and her no-personality self is still there.

I agree with others that have said Brandy has a bad attitude. She was definitely better than Bristol, there’s no arguing that fact. But, I was turned off from Brandy years ago after seeing her on a show and acting so full of herself. And since then, she’s come across very arrogant in different interviews. What completely did me in with her was how she acted on DWTS. I’m sorry but how dare she say “I want this more than anyone else.” She may THINK that she wants it more, and Bristol…well…I really don’t know how bad she wants it, but look at Kyle and Jennifer. They’ve busted their butts and for Brandy to assume that they aren’t JUST as motivated as she is..well, that’s just being arrogant. That really bothered me about her. I mean…have you SEEN Kyle shake his booty?
I would’ve preferred to see Brandy in the final 3 based on her talent alone, but ultimately it was her and Maks’ faults. I love Maks but he’s full of himself too. Confidence and passion are good. But don’t go overboard or you’ll just seem annoying and ingenuine.

(Oh..and I do vote, though I didn’t vote last week since I didn’t watch the entire episode. I rarely vote for the same person each week, but will sometimes vote for more than one depending on who blew me away that week. I watch the show to be entertained. So if they bore me or they suck, no matter how much I might “love” them, I won’t vote for them.)
