Musiq Soulchild slows it down on “dowehaveto,” a soul-inspired cut off his album MusiqInTheMagiq, due May 3. On the tune, the Philly crooner reflects on a relationship where his girl causes drama just for the sake of stirring up trouble.
“Time and time again you got me wondering/ Why is it I ain’t getting through every time that we have an argument/ You always trying to win/ I’m just getting loud again, but you ain’t really mad at me,” he sings. Feel his pain below.
I haven’t bought an album since Jennifer Hudson’s over a month ago so I’m excited for Musiq’s new album next week, along with J.Lo’s. Musiq always delivers.

What I like about him is that he makes you feel what he sings.
