Rap-Up.com || New Music: Usher f/ Ciara – ‘Hot Tottie (Remix)’

Polow Da Don reaches into the vault and releases a previously unheard version of Usher’s “Hot Tottie” featuring Ciara. The album edit, which is included on Ursh’s Versus album, features Jay-Z and vocals from songwriter Ester Dean. You may recall that when the original tracklisting surfaced, Ciara’s name was also attached to the song, but she was absent from the finished product. A year later, Polow lets us hear CiCi’s “remix,” which features her backing vocals and a new verse. Which version do you prefer?

@meme, Yes, she would’ve. Because Ciara & Usher are 2 big names when it comes to entertainment, & both of their fan-bases we’re loving for them 2 to work together. Blue, Ciara was doing great with “Ride” & the songs off her mixtape she was releasing, if was giving her a nice buzz. Plus, she would’ve smashed a video & some performances. Let’s not be shady. Ciara is big with the right team. That’s all it is. The talent & everything else is there.

@meme, i agree it is messed up but i believe Ciara will be out for heads this time around and make her comeback. She is at new label (rumored to be with Epic by L. A. Reid) so hopefully she can deliever her best this time around.

This should have been the original version. Usher & Ciara make the perfect combo…they should’ve used this for the single and promoted it, and a month later put out the “Hot Toddy (feat. Jay-Z)” appropriately titled “Hot Toddy (Remix) feat. Jay-Z”…a more logically, and fan appreciated suggestion :) Either way, I’ll be downloading this because this is something new!
