Rap-Up.com || Jay-Z and Kanye West Perform ‘Otis’ at VMAs [Video]

Jay-Z and Kanye West showed their patriotic stripes with a surprise performance of “Otis” off their chart-topping album Watch the Throne. ‘Ye, dressed in a matching denim shirt and pants, emerged with newly announced father-to-be Hov, who rocked a white tee and dark blue jeans. Throughout their soulful performance, the duo let the music do the talking as they emerged amid a myriad of fireworks, coming closer to the audience as an American flag unfurled behind them.

LOL at Ben, Kanye West and Jay-Z are two of the biggest mainstream hip hop artists out right now. Kanye West, and Jay-Z have made far better music, and albums than Lil Wayne will ever make. Kanye West has two classic hip hop albums in College Dropout, and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Jay-Z has four classic albums in Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, The Black Album, and the underrated American Gangster. Lil Wayne has no classic albums that unbiased music fans and critics can point to. Lil Wayne is popular with young music fans, and biased mainstream pop fans, and biased mainstream hip hop fans. Every music fan who is unbiased believes Kanye West and Jay-Z are ahead of Lil Wayne. Kanye West is not old, he is only 34 years old. Jay-Z is 42 years old, and his entire list of albums beats Lil Wayne. Jay-Z has 13 Grammy Awards, Kanye West has 14 Grammy Awards. Lil Wayne only has four 4 Grammy Awards. Jay-Z even makes more money than everyone in Young Money/Cash Money and that’s a fact. You can hate all you want Ben, but Kanye West and Jay-Z have always been ahead of Lil Wayne and you just have to deal with it. Watch The Throne is certified gold, and almost platnium, not bad for two old guys, LOL at Ben.
