“Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for the white man with soul?” asked Robin Thicke’s keyboardist on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Looking sharp in tight black pants and a leather jacket, the R&B lothario lit up the red stage with his lovers’ anthem “Love After War” off his new album of the same name, which debuted at No. 22 this week with 41,000 copies sold.

Love After War is definitely Thicke’s most solid album yet. It’s too bad the album hasn’t had the attention it needs at the moment.
