Rap-Up.com || Brandy and Monica Reunite in the Studio

Fourteen years after topping the charts with their hit “The Boy Is Mine,” Brandy and Monica reunited in the studio to make history again. Both ladies flew down to Miami to record with hitmaker Rico Love on a follow-up to their Grammy-winning duet, which spent 13 weeks at No. 1 in 1998.

“We have Both Been Blessed Beyond Measure..14years later,” tweeted Monica, while Brandy responded, “I love you so much Mo❤thank u!”

Monica’s seventh album New Life and Brandy’s as-yet-untitled RCA/Chameleon Records debut are both due this spring.

I tried to be optimistic about ashanti’s comeback, but she does not have a major label to support her, we’ll see what happens when her distribution is limited and everything is coming out of her pocket, while brandy continues to climb back to the top, she already did 90210, drop dead diva, the game and she is going to be in the new tyler perry movie, all that plus a new record deal, she is about to be everywhere. Ashanti is alright but she is no threat to brandy, especially not vocally.
