Video: D-WHY – ‘New York Times’

D-WHY

Just days before the release of his free album Don’t Flatter Yourself, D-WHY builds anticipation with the cinematic video for “New York Times.” The dapper rapper navigates the mean streets of New York City in the black-and-white visuals, hunting down his opponents and kicking ass in his designer suit. Check out the action-packed clip, which features a singing D-WHY.

If you say this is anything other than amazing, brilliant or groundbreaking you’re playing yourself. By far the best video of all summer.

Not the best video of all summer but I’m definately surprised in a good way by this guy. I though he’s wack but this one’s good! Props go to him!

People are so quick to give all types of praise to a newbie’s work. This has an artistic vibe but it isn’t unique or groundbreaking by any means. This sort of thing has been done (and better) with previous attempts by others. And his singing/rapping combo isn’t unique either.

He’s just white and doing so it is different and unique. If this were a black artist nobody would even be posting this up and fawning over it…
