New Music: Cam'ron - 'Golden Friends'

  /  05.12.2013

Cam'ron

The Golden Girls never sounded so gangsta thanks to Cam’ron. On “Golden Friends,” the Harlem rapper samples Andrew Gold’s 1978 single “Thank You for Being a Friend,” which was later re-recorded by Cynthia Fee and used as the theme song to the 1980s sitcom.

“Killa season has returned,” declares Killa Cam, who shows his appreciation to his friends, God, and Tanya (“For years I tore up her ovaries”).

Hear Cam fire off some friendly rhymes below.
