Miguel's Leg Drop Victim Claims Possible Brain Damage

Miguel made headlines when he landed on a fan at the Billboard Music Awards last month, but the saga is not over yet. The victim of the accident is now claiming that she may have suffered brain damage.

While performing “Adorn,” the R&B superstar took a leap across the stage and kicked Khyati Shah in the head. Afterwards, the fan was seen holding an ice pack while conducting an interview alongside Miguel.

But her lawyer, Vip Bhola, says the ice pack was a pathetic gesture by the show. He insists his client’s injury should have been taken more seriously and she should have been rushed to the hospital.

“Some of the difficulties she’s experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury,” Bhola tells TMZ.

After the incident, Miguel tweeted, “Got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay.”

Shah is waiting for test results from a neurologist before deciding whether to pursue legal action.
