New Music: R. Kelly f/ Future – ‘Tear It Up’

R. Kelly and Future

Future called on R. Kelly for “Parachute,” a collaboration on his debut Pluto. Now the Atlanta rapper returns the favor on “Tear It Up.” An Auto-Tuned Kellz gets freaky on the bedroom banger, taking it from the closet to the hallway.

Expect more sexual jams like this on his upcoming album Black Panties, due in December. “I’m on a Benjamin Button-type of mission right now,” Kellz told Fuse. “I’m going back to the old school R. Kelly days where he did the 12 Play, the sexual songs mixed with the hip-hop songs.”

Just last month, Kellz debuted his 2 Chainz-assisted single “My Story.”

Listen to a radio rip of “Tear It Up,” which premiered on V103 Chicago.

KING OF R&B Kells I love both new songs and I can’t wait to hear the black panties album and side bar kells you don’t need that auto tune crap because you can sing very well and also no more features. All I need is some good old school kells from 12 play on this new album.

The King Of R&B I love both songs but the features and auto tunes are not needed at all. I can’t wait for this album to drop and I know its gonma be a banger and have some smooth R&B 12 play type songs on here.

@D. kellz, He isn’t the king of rnb anymore stop it… his new album will be a mess if he keeps recording songs like that.

@Ryan, If he’s not, who the fuck is? You tried. Have a seat.

@Triniti, Usher. Usher. Usher, PERIOD. The man still keeps releasing great music and is still on the music charts. His last album hadn’t good sales because he promoted it very wrong so people thought the album is more pop than rnb but if you listen to the album the album has only 2-3 pop songs all other songs are rnb. So let us wait for his new album and you will then understand my post.

R Kelly is a great writer etc. but like some people wrote here he lost his touch and seems like that he isn’t motivated anymore to do great music

@Bey, A lot of people or fans or what not must did not purchase or listen to the Love Letter album or the Write Me Back album which has great songs and also great meaning behind every song. Those 2 albums were very good and I do not know why everybody on here keeps comparing R. Kelly to Usher its a legend compared to a future legend point blank but Usher is not the king of R&B yet. R. kelly is still the king of r&b and i like and love both usher and kells.

@Ryan, to each there own opinion I’m not here to argue he is a legend and a pioneer of R&B and influenced the very artist you speak of. And when he passes away Usher is the next King Of R&B.

@D. kellz, I like both as an artist but don’t act like Usher isn’t a also a legend. He is already over 10 years in the scene. Usher’s music has more quality for me and he turned from a prince to a king… but it’s just my opinion

    D. kellz Reply:

@Red, R. Kelly has been in the game for over 25 years plus that’s legend status and has wrote for many legends just to name two may they R.I.P. Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Dont get me wrong I love usher music but you can’t compare 10 years to 25 years of genius writing and producing and also a hit list of classic songs that us 80′s babies were made too lmao. But usher will be a legend one day.

Another proof that Usher is the King of R&B! I’m not a big fan of both but I must say R Kelly lost his touch and I wouldn’t wonder if his new album flops.

@Nicki Minaj, Usher hasn’t made R&B since 2005. Call him King of Dance

@John, Get your informations right before you write something wrong. Even his album Looking For Myself has only 3 Pop songs the rest was R&B.

I’m a hug fan of R. Kelly I think my pix speaks for itself but let me make this clear to each there own opinion. R. Kelly is a legend in the game he has not fallen off by far but not everyone is going to like every song he makes not even me being one of his biggest fans but lets be clear this is not an Usher Vs. R. Kelly conversation of who is the king of r&b. I did not give him that name he has been named that for decades now he’s the king of r&b and a legend and pioneer of r&b and influenced usher and many r&b artist. I love both of there music both king and prince of r&b. But kells is a legend in the game and like I said not everyone will like his new music or new albums but his producing, writing and platinum albums and grammy’s speaks for themselves and once again I’m not the one who named him king of r&b and secondly since we bring up usher even usher himself said R.kelly is the king of R&B.

@D. kellz, R. Kelly isn’t motivated enough anymore… and this is sad in my opinion. He put out like 3-4 songs in the last 3-6 months which has 0 quality.

@Red, have you heard the write me back album and love letter album? Both of those albums have substance.
