It was hard to escape Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, who welcomed their daughter North West and got engaged this year. That’s why Walters has included the power couple on her 21st annual list of newsmakers.
“She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday,” Kanye told Ryan Seacrest of his fiancée.
Pop superstar Miley Cyrus captivated the nation with her twerking and racy VMA performance and earned a spot on Walters’ list.
The lineup also includes ABC anchor Robin Roberts, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, the stars of “Duck Dynasty,” swimmer Diana Nyad, and NSA leaker Edward Snowden.
Walters will conduct interviews and reveal her No. 1 most-fascinating pick on the 90-minute special, which airs December 18 on ABC.
