New Music: Lil Mama – ’0 to 100 (Freestyle)’

0 to 100 (Freestyle)

Lil Mama is back with a vengeance. After starring as Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in VH1′s TLC biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, the “Lip Gloss” MC shows that she can still get it poppin’ with her freestyle to Drake’s “0 to 100.”

“And I’m undefeated / Ain’t no contenders in my class / And you couldn’t beat it even if you Michael Jackson bad,” spits the spunky 24-year-old.

While she hasn’t released an album since 2008, she plans to put out more freestyles as part of her “Lyrical Purge” series.

Hear Mama return to the mic.

    Lil’ Mama can be so annoying and attention-seeking, but her ability to spit can’t be denied. If she would’ve just come out dropping hot freestyles after the whole jumping on stage with Jay-Z thing, people would’ve quickly forgotten and turned attention to her talents. This is what Charlamagne was talking about in the interview where she ended up crying.

    I really do want to see her succeed so talents won’t go to waste.

    @I’m a Bad Bish I’m a Kunt,

    What is sad is you are trying to make a joke about her crying when the reason she was crying was over the fact that her mother became apart of the conversation. Her mother passed away from Cancer, so that obviously would strike a nerve. If I were in her shoes I probably would’ve reacted more worse to that.

    On to the freestyle, Lil Mama bodied this freestyle! Hope she keeps up the series and hopefully new music will arrive soon!

    @Creat1ve, Girl no. Idk why y’all try to use that as an excuse. Charlemagne made her cry cos she was going at Nicki & we all know he’s CThaBarb. So please move east with all this mommy shit. She brought her mother up trying to change the subject after she realized how stupid she sounded.

    @Girl Pls,

    No one’s trying to use that as an excuse, it’s simply the truth. And I’m actually a pretty big fan of Nicki as well so for you to come for one of your fellow fans like that is pretty pathetic. Like I said, this woman has lost her mother for crying out loud. Lil Mama has went through so much and for some of you all to keep attacking her like this is just wrong. There’s enough room in this music game for both Lil Mama and Nicki. I’m a huge fan of both and only want to see female rap grow stronger and stronger. Fed up with all these different beefs and rivalries for really nothing.

    @Girl Pls, do your research even Charlemagne saod it was Angela Yee who brought up lil mama mother so he tried to say it wasn’t his fault. Like creative said its room for everyone. Mama rocked that shit. N iggas can’t say shit about her skills so they bring up other lame shit.

    Go Lil Mama. U have always had the skill. People were just too distracted with the media attention you got. That’s not a legite reason to deny her of her craft. She’s dope.

    She BODIED this. Why hate? Her flow is sick. Only reason people don’t like her is cause she walked on stage during a mediocre ass Jay Z performance. Get over it. Kill shit Lil Mama

    @The truth, Don’t sound pressed b/c niggas is clowning Lil Mama. Jay-Z’s VMA performance was definitely one to remember from the VMAs and powerful enough to have her ass walk up on stage during, so it OBVIOUSLY wasn’t THAT mediocre. Anyway…

    Mama has talent. She just made some career mistakes.

    She really did her thing. I’m excited to hear more freestyles from her. Lil mama is very underrated because people don’t want to give credit where it’s due, but she is actually a dope rapper. Wish her more success.
