Justin Bieber Covers Tupac's 'Thugz Mansion'
Nearly 20 years after Tupac Shakur’s death, Justin Bieber pays homage with a cover of his “Thugz Mansion” classic.
During his recent visit to the U.K., the pop superstar stopped by BBC Radio 1 and delivered an acoustic rendition of Makaveli’s Better Dayz original, while also handling Anthony Hamilton’s chorus.
“Is there a way for me to change?” he asked. “Or am I just a victim of things I did to maintain?”

That wasn’t all for the Biebs. Before covering “Thugz Mansion,” he also performed Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”
“My mom used to play it my whole childhood,” he explained. “It’s just a part of my childhood and one of my favorite songs.”

This isn’t the first time JB has covered ‘Pac. In 2011, he also sang “Thugz Mansion” while on “The Breakfast Club.” The following year, he spit Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. lyrics while on Angie Martinez’s show. Plus, throughout the years, he’s shared love for ‘Pac on social media.
In fact, Bieber’s been a fan of Shakur for most of his life. “My dad loved Tupac, so he introduced me to Tupac when I was really young,” he said in 2011. “I could spit a Tupac verse when I was like eight years old.”
