A$AP Ferg is Still Striving.

A year after dropping his sophomore album Always Strive and Prosper, the Trap Lord unleashes Still Striving, a star-studded mixtape filled with familiar faces.

Fans have already heard some of that with the Migos-assisted “Nasty (Who Dat)” and the jam-packed “East Coast (Remix),” which features Busta Rhymes, A$AP Rocky, Dave East, French Montana, Rick Ross, and Snoop Dogg.

The 14-track set also includes guest appearances from Meek Mill (“Trap and a Dream”), Cam’ron (“Rubber Band Man”), Dave East (“Olympian”), Lil Yachty (“Aww Yeah”), Nav (“What Do You Do”), and MadeinTYO (“One Night Savage”).

“The concept was to just have fun,” Ferg told Highsnobiety. “There were so many introspective songs on Always Strive and Prosper. Yes, it was the album of my dreams to create, but I also understand that my dreams may not always fit into the realm of society. It was a headache getting music cleared and making people believe in the vision enough to stand behind it completely and even put it out. I was completely drained from that and just wanted to party and turn up so that’s what inspired this project.”

Still Striving is set to be followed by A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes, Vol. 2: Too Cozy compilation, which drops Aug. 25. After that, the crew will launch their “Too Cozy Tour” with Ferg on select dates.
