Khalid Performs 'Young Dumb & Broke' on 'Kimmel'
Khalid brought his high school anthem to late night with an outdoor performance of “Young Dumb & Broke” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
Backed by four cheerleaders, the soulful crooner ran through his set with energetic dance moves of his own. Rocking a long sleeve green shirt and grey pants with Vans on, his dancing was often met with roaring applause from youthful fans who knew every word.
It was the latest big stage performance in what has become a huge year for the American Teen star. Just last month, he performed the song during the “MTV VMA Pre-Show,” before joining Logic’s inspirational “1-800-273-8255” set during the main show, where he took home the award for Best New Artist.
The music keeps coming. Khalid recently joined forces with Marshmello for “Silence.” Up next, he is teaming up with Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei, who appeared in the video for “Young Dumb & Broke.”
